Read on another forum board about this Australian patent that covers search by image and content. Looks like most serach engines are in clear violation as the patent has been granted an approval date of year 2000. I wonder how many other "gotchas" are out there.
How do we protect ourself from all these hidden traps, who wants to pay a license fee when we dont even know we are breaking the law, and whats more how are we to know?
Imagine what the fees to Google would be if adwords had an image behind them like they did at xmas, let alone us that use adsense!
