I have had YPN for a couple of months but the click through rate is reduculously low because of "mis-matched" ads.
I have also contacted them about WHEN I will get paid since I haven't received any payments at all even if their earnings show an amount greater than $100.
Anyway, I decided a week or so ago to remove all their ads and move over to Googl Ads instead since I know they perform a lot better and I have probably lost at least a couple of hundred bucks if not more trying their ads, and the other day I got an email from YPN saying that they have cancelled my ads because most of my visitors and click came from countries outside US so they said they paid the advertisers their money back and cancelled my account. So so much for YPN.... guess if you have a web site just for the US market and happen to have a site that goes well with the few advertisers Yahoo has then you might make some money, but if you don't your sc@@@ed
So, to anyone that even think about using YPN I'd say, DON'T!

I completely, totally, and without hesitation disagree with you 100%.

I switched about 50% of my traffic over to YPN and am very happy with the financial rewards. The targeting might not be great, but at $2+ per click, you can learn to live with it.

As long as you don't have any visitors from outside US that click on YPN ads you might be fine but if you target the world and they start clicking on your ads then your account will be cancelled because you are "violating" the agreement with YPN. So good luck :)

I've been using YPN BETA for a while now - Around 40% of our users are from outside the USA. So far, I've not had a problem.

I agree with sootledir with better than $2 a click I can live with a few BETA issues. :)

"We advised in an email previously sent to you that the
Yahoo! Publisher Network beta does not currently support publishers whose
primary audience is located outside the United States. As a result, we've had
to terminate your YPN beta account for breach of the YPN Terms and Conditions and will pay any remaining amount owed to you in
accordance with the YPN Terms and Conditions."

Maybe I complained too much about their crappy ads :) If you are ahppy with it it's great!!

There are cheap/free solutions which would allow you to serve AdSense to your foriegn users and YPN to your US visitors.

There is a free option, as well as a subscription service to have up-to-date info. I use it on a few of my sites to split test Adsense and YPN.

I have been happy with YPN, actually extremely happy when it first launched, less happy now, but my earnings are greater on YPN then on AdSsense.
