Quick question about paid inclusion: Our commercial site is getting indexed by Yahoo in a timely fashion all of the time. An agency is trying to get us to use paid inclusion by offering a free trial and then of course paying for the service .

1. What will the paid inclusion help with if we are already getting indexed?

2. If we do submit the site using paid inclusion , then STOP using paid inclusion, will our listings drop out of Yahoo? This would be bad since we are already getting indexed naturally.

Thank You in advance
Liz

Officially, nothing - as Yahoo has said they do not boos rankings for paid inclusion custmers... at least, thats what they told the public and FTC. However, as many has seen that can be questioned ...

If you are already getting well indexed by Yahoo I WOULD NOT start using PFI.

PFI is good if you have a site that is NOT getting indexed or if you need "legitimized cloaking" to gain better rankings in your space :)
