Hi guys,

I have a website that was doing very well on Google, until Google discovered that my site had excessive keywords in it's meta tags, and that the site was also framed. It was my first SEO job 5 years ago, the site was doing well so I just left it the way it was; "If it's not broken, don't fix it" is what I always say, but now it's really broken, is there a way to fix this?

My site is clean now, is there a way to get back in Google? Or is it too late, i'm screwed?

Try a re-inclusion request.

But first, read all about it on Matt Cutts' blog and then follow his instructions carefully:

http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/reinclusion-request-howto/

The re-inclusion request page is here:

http://www.google.com/support/bin/request.py

Let us know how it works out.

Best of luck...

i did a request about a month ago and still nothing. my question is: can't they see that you're not doing whatever it is that got you penalized and, say, after a month remove the penalty?
