I was just wondering about how many links do I have to
have from high PR sites (PR5 -10) to boost my own site to
a high PR site.
Is there anyone that have a number on
how many links they got before their sites got high PR.

I think both your site's PR and the number of links from good sites depends grealty on the quality of your site itself.

Best case scenario, you have a fantastic site. Now, I think, the number of quality links you "need" depends on how many other people have fantastic sites on your topic/selling your product.

I've ran a "page 1 google site" that google recorded 7 inbound links for--using the search query link:url. I'm sure 7 links won't do it everytime.
