I was just checking one of my keywords (saltwater fishing) and low and behold it was back to page one.
So I check another (fishing reports) and it was back to page one. And then another and another and then it dawned on me that I think I was looking at Pre-jagger results.
I went in to tell everybody I wasn't going to get my hopes up too high but my rankings were once again looking great - like they were before the jagger fiasco.

Good thing I didn't get my hopes up because as fast as they appeared they disappeared. Gone like the wind.

And I searched the individual data centers and none of those produced the results I just saw.
I have ruled out the possibility that I was dreaming or hallucinating and I know I saw them - tons of great rankings that I had before jagger.

Where would this come from, especially being that I didn't see the same results on any of the data centers. At least the ones I checked.

It's bad enough my site was rendered almost invisible by jagger, but G doesn't have to tease me like that.

These are the data centers I looked at: *ww.mcdar.net/dance/index.php

Someone, anyone please tell him he is wrong. I just found our site back at#1 for main keyword and in top 5 or 10 for other keywords. Now I'm afraid to look! :(

Mine's gone.
But it was there because it came back later and then was gone again and I have some proof in my logs where my "fishing reports" keyword was clicked 3 times from the 1 - 10 spot. Now who know's where I am for Fishing Reports, back down past 100.

Could this be a prelude to a rollb... I won't even say it?

Hi, i am also seeing some resultsets that are, not particular pre-jagger, but are from a few weeks ago... I'll expect them to change soon enough again...

We've slipped back down to 3, 9 and gone for our top 3 keywords. 3 years ago our product did not exist, until I invented it and now I can't even stay in google's results. There is something wrong with this picture.

Beginning to feel like a fast growing business being stomped on by WalMart, only in this case it appears to be google. Adwords has doubled and tripled, just like Yahoo after they acquired Overture.

All the majors are showing this one competitor anywhere from 2 to 5 times on top 10 page. Like I've said before, what happened to senority?

....and why all this shake up right at Christmas? As if the economy weren't bad enough, with disasters, layoffs, major co.'s filing bankrupcy, etc, etc, etc. and now Google steps up to the plate with top 10 returns listing Yahoo Directory & About.com in the top ten...

With this one competitor from what I've seen them do, black hat is in - so long as you change it when the dust settles and don't get caught.

White Hats finish last.... Losing faith in Google... :(

In the 8 yrs I have been playing with web sites html, I have never seen nor experienced such a business killer 'shake-up'. When search results have one of google's top competitors listed #4 and/or #5 in the top 10 AND about.com in #8 or #9 spot.... how is that helping the relevancy(sp?)???
