Hi,
I'm working on optimizing a mutli-national, multi-lingual site that uses Country Hawk to detect incoming IPs' locations and automatically direct them to the corresponding country's site. A couple of questions on how to treat spiders:
1. Are the spiders for Google, Yahoo and MSN all in the US?
2. Would it be considered cloaking to send spiders to a country selection page (the page where you can pick your country from a list of links) if other visitors from the US are going to the US site's normal homepage?
Thanks,
Kate
