The Mobile Photos Upload service is an addition to the existing Yahoo photo service, which allows users to store digital albums online and share them with friends and family.
The new service is available to camera phone users who are customers of Sprint Communications AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Cingular Wireless and Verizon Wireless.
To use the service, customers have to register the make and model of their phone, as well as their wireless service provider, with the online service. They are then given an e-mail address to use when sending photos to their online account.
Yahoo is not setting a limit on the number of photos uploaded and is not charging extra for the service.
