Hi,
After developing websites for quite a few years now, we're jumping in the desktop search application (DSA) bandwagon, not a desktop search actually (like google/MSN desktop), but since it sits in the taskbar and queries web, we call it that.
Though its unqiue, one of its kind (yes, I mean it) and touched up well, but we're unsure of promotion techniques for an application like this.
Yes, we'll put up a detailed info on its own website and our network of sites, but that won't help much, I believe.
What are the other ways to promote a web-based application?
