Greetings from New Orleans,
You seem to know lots about affiliate issues so here goes. Let's say I want to go after niche markets. Can I put all those keywords on my home page? I thought that some SE penalized you for repeating a word more than 3 times. Also the more words you use the more your words are diluted. Right?
Is it better to have many pages that feature those niche markets?
What are your thought?
Thanks for your time.

Hi CajunMan,
Welcome to Search Engine Watch. I moved this post which you had added to a thread about Adwords here.

SEO for niche affiliate sites should follow the same SEO best practices you have learned over the years.

Right on all counts above. You can and should have all the keywords ON the home page in plain text, just don't repeat words in the meta KW. The engines place more emphasis on the text words on your page than the metas these days anyway. So you may want to have a link list type menu on home page that lists the golf widgets, music widgets and computer widgets. But yes, then on the golf page you focus on golf KWs etc. The title tag is the most important, so use your best KW there and don't repeat them although you could say "the best golf widgets for golfers".
Hope this helps!
Linda
