My church puts out a semi monthly newsletter that is created in Microsoft Publisher and is mailed out to the memebers of the parish. I thought that since the "Parish Notes" are so full of good information (and keywords), they should be on our site. Has anyone had a similar situation arise? What is the best way to post this information on the site? pdf? image? spend some time and put it into a best effort html version? If anyone has any ideas, please advise...

IMO your best bet would be to have it in an HTML version. This could be done quite effortlessly if you have a good CMS or if you are keen on coding html.

I would suggest to keep the articles to between 250 and 350 words. Split them by topic if nescesary.

You could also consider creating a blog and syndicating your content so that other members could also benefit from the constantly updated news. This way you will build traffic and backlinks for free to a very qaulified source due to the opt-in nature of RSS feeds.
