As of 7:30 EST on 6/10, when you search for "Yahoo" in Google, finance.yahoo.com is the first result. Yahoo.com is buried. I checked a few data centers and they all had the same result. Is Yahoo now spamming itself for the term "Yahoo"? Ummm...don't think so.

Check this out, it could be fixed quickly because it is high profile.

Works okay for me now; www is first, followed by search.yahoo.com in the second spot (9:30am).

I think it's to do with the killing of subdomains, Yahoo will be whitelisted now

Yep. Definitely back. I saw it for at least an hour or so. If this was corrected so fast, does that mean that Google does in fact have a white list of sites who get excluded from the rules? Or was this simply an anomaly?
