Hello,
I spent a lot in search engines, and have been in constant touch with overture ppl.
Is anyone using Platinum Team services, if yes! then what are the adavantages of using them.
Cheers

I have found no advantages. In fact, it takes my Platinum rep longer to meet my needs than it ever did before. That could just be my experience, but I'm not thrilled with it.

I have found that Platinum is far better than Diamond... they help out in many ways such as generating keywords, offering creative suggestions, bulk uploading and expediating listings.
Worth getting them in my opinion.

Hi, we are platinum customers too and to be honest they made simple changes and edits a much bigger deal than they ever should have been. We wanted to delete keywords and update some old keywords and it took a week to get it all sorted - we could have done it ourselves in a day!

I asked for a report 2 weeks ago (surprise, surprise, I could not get it to run thru the DTC myself) and I have yet to receive it.

I tend to agree with Vinnie and ymartin, although it depends on what we're trying to do. If I'm just adding keywords or making changes to a few ads, it's way easier to just do it myself in the DTC using the Bulk Upload feature or just searching for and changing listings. However, there have been times where I need to make a copy change to most or all of my ads, which obviously would take forever manually in the DTC. My Platinum/Diamond rep sent me a spreadsheet where I could do a find/replace and re-submit to them to be uploaded, saving me hours of work. On the whole, though, I haven't seen much benefit in being a Diamond or Platinum level advertiser.
One big problem with the OV account reps is turnover. I think we've had 4-5 reps in the past 18 months. Just when I'd get one rep "trained" in understanding our business, they'd leave and I'd have to start over. Frustrating. I've had the same Google rep for almost 2 years now.
Just my experience!

The turnover is a huge thing... guess working conditions are not the best...
