Hi,

I have an affiliate site I want to SEO. The only way Io know to do it is to frame it so that I can edit the title, meta tags, etc, & it is a static page. I know, though, that SE's don't like frames.

Any suggestions on how to do it?

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam,

It sounds like you are talking about framing the merchants page. This is not a good practice and many merchants object. You should be adding value with your own content to encourage visitors to click the merchant's link.

Here are a few easy tips I blogged about awhile back, for creating good affiliate pre-sell landing pages.

This is good formula and the testimonials could actually help your affiliate ads convert better.

~ Merchant banner, for some color
~ KW word rich intro paragraph about the products or merchant
~ Customer Testimonials
~ Text links to more info on merchant site (More info, buy now, best price)

Note: Many times you can find testimonials on the merchant's site. Otherwise you may find some on BizRate or Epinions. If you think the product is that great, then buy it and write your own! :)

Hope this helps and best of luck!
