I have a client who's previous seo company submitted him to the yahoo directory. however the link title and description are total crap, and this is showing up for them whenever their homepage comes up in the yahoo search results
they're now on page 1 for some very competitive terms, and getting much less visitors than I'd expect, I'm sure because the link and description are so horrible.
I sent a request for change to yahoo about 2 months ago. I told them the client was interested in doing site match, but didn't want to do that until this problem was solved, otherwise they'd be wasting money. no response, no change.
does anyone know of a good way to get this changed? what really irks me is that the client is paying for this listing, IMO it's yahoo's responsibility to improve this listing. the fact that once it's fixed it will bring profit to yahoo when the client signs up for site match is just another reason to do so.
