I was linking to a bad neighbour and I complied with Googleguys suggestions to remove all the links and I am still not indexed in Google since December 2004.

Please see thread:

http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=3279&page=2&pp=20

At the end of this post Googleguy states:

"if you want to run a non-profit, don't link to sites that have hidden text via CSS, especially not on the *footer of practically every page on the site*. Who you link to can affect your ranking. This site seemed to have a lot of links to a lot of very aggressive sites for a non-profit. I'd recommend that he remove all links to these aggressive sites, and then send an email to us requesting reinclusion."

I have contacted help@google.com on numerous occasions and they tell me that they will forward my url on to the Engineers to review. I have apologized for this bad linking practice.

Please help me to get my web site reincluded on Google.

hello bwp

At the bottom of this page is what a hand removal looks like:

I presume you dont have one of those.

Requests to google are plenty me thinks and as a result your request may not even be seen let alone acted upon.

G is an algo, things change all the time. Instead of thinking of a penalty, could you just not rank due to the algo.

As an example, just say Google introduce a filter on crosslinking from sites on the same IP block. Now if that is one of your sites that gets killed was it a penalty or just part of the aglo. Well it was a part of the algo. So instead of thinkng that you are "penalised" think about other factors that could be causing your site not to rank.

So what now, well go back to basics, look for new clean links and maybe look at your onpage seo....then go create another site and wait.

I had a site killed on Dec 15, is was clean, i was gutted, but I just carried on. Then 3 months later it came back in better than before. Beware of knee jerk reactions, changing too many things at once does not allow you to zero in on what was the problem/change in algo.

I know I have rambled around in circles, but put less reliance on a re-inclusion request and more on your site and other new one you are now going to create :-)

hth a bit
