As I was looking at my AdSense stats this morning I noticed a page listed with two clicks but zero page impressions. Any idea how this could happen? Are clicks and page impressions tracked on different servers, causing the inconsistency? The only possibility I can think of is that someone viewed one of my pages yesterday, then today went back to the page and clicked on an ad (two of them).

I had a few of those this morning and was concerned about it. In fact I was going to post asking about it, it looks very suspicious.

Viewing the stats can sometimes look pretty strange sometimes because all the various stats don't update at the same time, although it usually isn't as noticeable as 2 clicks with zero impressions. If you go and view by week or by month, you will likely get different results as well - you could even show impressions but no clicks ;)

Sometimes one set of stats - such as impressions in this case - will get way behind, and will make it appear that you have a record CTR % ... but it will sort itself out by the end of the day.

So nothing suspicious about it at all, but it can look odd ;)
