Is anyone from this forum is planning to go to the Affiliate Summit? This year instead of everyone being stuck on a ship in the ocean - it's going to be in Vegas - Baby! So it should be lots of fun, and is the biggest turnout for this event ever. This event is well known for it's pranks, but this year NO "Shawn Collins is my Mom" hats allowed and no "I hate Wayne Porter" t-shirts either. Wonder who will come up with the most ORIGINAL prank this year??? We challenged another company that's going to an all hands on deck Tug o' War challenge, which would have been a HOOT - but they turned us down! ;)

I know June is tough, because there are a bunch of Internet marketing conferences going on, but if you are planning to be there, I'd love to hook up and buy you a drink! :p

Anyone coming???

Hey Linda -

I look forward to seeing you there. Maybe Advertising.com, xy7.com, or Direct Response would take you up on the tug of war challenge - they've all got big groups showing up.

We will be there. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making a few new ones!
Remeber, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...unless I get pictures! :D

Awww..Damn...

I just went to sign up and they are sold out. I don't do a lot of affiliate work and was looking forward to learning some more about it. I was also REALLY interested in the "Bidding of Trademarks" seminar :(

Just out of curiosity, how much did it cost to register? There is no indication on the site currently, at least, that I could find.

Hi Ian -

The price ranged from $995 to $1495, depending on the time of registration. There have been tickets to the conference popping up on eBay - one just sold this morning for $1200.

Hi Ian,

Sorry you missed it! This is the biggest one yet with 450 registered, but there is a waiting list in the event of cancellations or increased meeting space.

I got in at the early bird rate of 995 but in April the price went up to 1,495. Well worth it from all I've heard!

Hey Connie - NO pics allowed of how much food I eat at our Sunday pig out buffet or of me falling down at the Hard Rock if I drink too much.

We were actually able to get more space and register a total of 525.

With all the "networking" events planned, don't worry, most of my pictures will probably be blurry anyways.

But I do plan on taking lots of pictures that might come in handy at a later date. Might need some blog filler..

Seems a bit steep, unless $1000 in gambling chips is thrown in. What happened to the good old days of getting together for a pint to discuss the latest in affiliate marketing and search?

Of course I'll be there! I have not missed an Affiiate Force or Summit and I don't plan to start. I'm excited that there will be more attendees than any event in the past, and that there should be a great mix of merchants and affiliates. I'm not speaking this year, so I'll have more time to talk and network.

Hey Brad,

Good to see you over here and look forward to meeting you in person. Can't believe we haven't met yet, since you are right in LA and have all the local affiliate manager meetings. I regret not ever making it to one of those - so busy they never let me leave the house. ;)

I'm so excited to be going to the Summit where I can finally meet so many "forum friends" in person. See you there!

Since you mention it, we have the next one planned for Wedensday, June 8th. For those who don't know, I have been hosting and organizing a meeting for people involved in the Affiliate (and internet) marketing area for a few years. It is the second Wednesday of the month and is held either at our office in Redondo Beach, or some other location depending on requests. Anyone who wants to attend can add yourself to the notification list here:
