Just noticed yesterday for the first time that My Yahoo! MOBILE version on my Treo 600 defaults to Search: Local, Images, Web. Then displays the usual stuff I had before.

Reading between the lines, what I find interesting is that when you go to search.yahoo.com you get this sequence:

Web | Images | Directory | Local | News | Products | Maps | People Search | Travel |

But on Mobile you get:

Local | Images | Web |

Making "local" numero uno and very convenient. Still searching on my Treo is a bit slow and difficult to get what I really want, but I love the direction it's going.
