seeing new backlinks credited on virtually all of the Datacenters.
What is noteworthy is that it makes no difference whether any particular datacenter has been updated from last month's dropping of sites or not

How do you mean?
I assume it means that regardless of the status of the data center, they are all receiving a backlink update.

I am also seeing IBLs updated on 3 sites that I follow. For the main site I follow, I am seeing 4 data centers showing the old (didn't change with the 02/03/05 update) numbers and the rest have new (improved, but not as good as the pre 02/03/05) quanities from the 02/03/05 update.
TBPR has stayed the same across all DCs (for this first site).
The four data centers that seem to have not changed (in either update) are:
66.102.7.99
66.102.7.104
216.239.53.99
216.239.53.104
On the other 2 sites, I see the same 4 DCs showing pre 02/03/05 results, but the balance of the DCs are 2 different sets of results. I am also seeing a TBPR reduction on one of the sites and an increase in the other.
Anyone else seeing this?
Side note: With this update, I am seeing my main site which disappeared, for even the site name, in the 02/03/05 update, reappear with much improved SERPs.

What was meant by the Statement is that the backlink results do not seem to be based on the quirky effects of last months controversial update.
Some Datacenters seem to have added the sites that were dropped - so you would assume MORE links would potentially be shown - but not the case
look at these two results for this forum
a difference in Double the amount of credited links- however, for the various sites that have been following - The 216 DC have added them - but the 66 DC have not.
Another explanation would be that while some sites were added from last months debacle - some additional ones were dropped after that...
