Hi all,

Im looking for somthing that might help me keep track of, organize and check incoming links. I did ask in a previous thread but I wasn't too clear, hopefully this one is more specific ;-)

Need

Ability to keep records of where links are placed
Who you spoke to, what it cost (and when to renew) etc
If reciprocation was required and where did one reciprocate from
Ability to check the links you have on record with this software
etc etc

Dont Need

Anything to find link partners for me
Anything that wants to build links pages for me
Anything that leaves a trail

The idea being that when I buy/request a link, I can keep track of whether it gets published, if it's still live, what it cost, etc etc...

Any recommendations that might roughly fit the above?

Thanks...

Nick

Nick, I don't know of any tool with those capabilities, but some programmer might do well in creating one like it for link builders.

Hi Nick,

A few years ago, I used a program called Link2Link. It worked well enough for the functions you require. Don't know if it's still around, but the price was fairly reasonable.

i think a spreadsheet works best for keeping track of who and when.

link proctor works well for ensuring people link to you.

you can give it any page of random urls and it will spider the sites listed to ensure they all link back to you. it costs (last I checked) $67
