I have read many posts on this subject, but am a little confused!

...you are not penalised in terms of PR by google if a bad link links to your site. As it is not necessarily your fault the link is there.

Does this mean if i link from my ebay store/ about me page to my website, i will not lose some PR? (i never plan on linking from the site to ebay)
