If you want better rankings and you have X amount of content to show on your website, should you make less pages with more content on each or mores pages with less content on each.

For example, you could have 4 pages with 25% or 2 pages with 50% of the content.

Any thoughts?

I would go for logical splits of the content (logical to human potencial...),
Concerning that each page may handle limited amount of key-phrases.

Theoretically - Google loves sites with lots of pages,
Pragmatically - you should maintain some balance for your users to stay / buy / come back.

is logically and correctly split into 6 pages. Would you agree?

Yes.

I would write 2-3 paragraphs on each subject/point
(+helpful explanations / case-studies etc.) and link them as a
new page to the current one.
