Has anybody noticed that Google API and Web give very different counts?

Examples:

Query API Web
"air dam" 18,600 86,200
"holding room" 4,230 19,700
"holding area" 29,500 135,000
"training support" 284,000 1,180,000

I've double-checked the parameters to be absolutely sure that theyr are the same in both cases.

Any idea?

Yes, they always had. Not sure why.

I thought it was because the API is taking it's numbers from a specific datacenter that works on sampled numbers and not the actual numbers reflected by the web results.

Just the count is different, not sure exactly why. :confused:
