Seem each november are a good timeframe for Google to make big move. Last one was Florida in 2003 and in first day of november 2001 they start indexing office document.

I always do get edgy around this time of year; it seems every year right before or around holiday season Google has a surprise gift for us.

Last year it was the Florida update that rocked the SEO community to its foundations - it was like a huge earthquake hitting and shattering everything around. And another year it was the great PR0 sweep, with people not knowing what hit them.

I hope more people have learned that no matter what, it always pays to diversify efforts and not rely on one source of traffic and income.

I got the time to check some metrics. Medium size site get 20 to 25% more pages indexed. On a big site, I got more than 15k new pages indexed since yesterday !!!

I have to admit, I'm a little edgy on possible changes - Google clustering can only promise to extend the problems Mike Grehan expounded upon in his Filthy Linking Rich article.

I recorded 5,880,000,000 back in Oct 22.

Ok Nov 10th and its back down to 8,000,000,000. That is quite abit of movement. From 9,580,000,000 down to 8,000,000,000.
