I have a test site http://www.pool-table-sale.com - Someone submitted it to Google, Yahoo, etc.
Problem: When i redirect the domain to the actual Homepage (which is 150% different than the test site) Will this mess up my google results or will the spiders just index the new site? Do i have to contact the search engines and have them take down the original webpage they have cashed?
Please Advise - Derek@llfitness.com

You need to do a 301 redirect... do a Google search about it it is fairly simple. That way the PR gets sent to new site along with old inbound links etc.
The spiders will look at the new site and eventually it will get resorted for new keywords etc.

I do not want to keep the PR or anything google has associated w/ the other site. It was basically an deep layered PHP testing zone and has NO SEO work done on it.
Would it be better to change the domain name for the new site?

Change the domain name as the changes will still carry some of the residual (links inbound and old PR possibly)....

I think thats what i will end up doing... Unless someone else can assure me that google will "Freshly" Index the entire new site on the same domain.
