What are the important steps should i consider to promote a blog related to gifts

writing insightful original content, getting the blog seen via search engines, social media and other means, design that helps promote and sell the products if that is how you make money and being regular and continuos provider of the content

But where do i get content on regular basis.. this is the blog quickgifts.blogspotdotcom....please have a look and tell me what does it requires to get good results...
