Lately I've check my traffic history and I found out that I do have traffic from ask.com. My question is..is this a good search engine than msn?

That's always a matter of opinion. Mine is that in certain ways Ask is at times better than any other search engine. It uses some pretty nifty technology and results can be more relevant. The "3D" interface makes it pretty simple to expand or narrow a search.

The biggest drawback I see is that right now Ask is money hungry. In a couple of searches I've just done, Ask is showing 4 PPC listings above the organic results and 5 below. Kind of reminds me of when Alta Vista started to clutter the SERPs and drove its users away.

but if the paid listings are the leaders in the space then it is ok.... but if it is the scammers then obviously not
