Hi,

I am wondering if you can track referrals from specific organic keywords in Google Analytics and set conversion goals for these.

ie

Google search = 'web design'

I can see how many people are coming to the site from Google using this term, I then want to set a goal in analytics to track how many of these users click on the 'Free Quote' page.

Thanks

Ben

yes you can by creating goals - where they come in and capture keyword and then when the confirm page loads it represents a conversion

Thanks for the reply and I understand what you are saying but have no idea of how to capture a keyword as part of a goal.

I would really appreciate a more detailed explanation.

Regards,

Ben

Set up your goal first. Then, create a report that shows the Google organic/keyword traffic - It will include the conversion goal.
