Hi there! I want to build a few dozen blogs to PR4 and use that as link bait for linking to main site. Is is ok to put all those blogs onto wordpress.com or should i spend extra money and effort to host on various other free blog hosts like blogger.com...

if someone gets a link from abc.wordpress.com and another link from xyz.wordpress.com does that count as 2 valid links or because they share the same domain it's discounted?
maybe if i offer websites a link from abc.wordpress.com and other from abc.blogger.com that's better for him so therefore he'll take my linkbait more seriously

better to have your own site. fyi spamming blogs doesn't really qualify as link bait. :)
