Can someone tell me the difference between "Link:www.example.com" and "Link: www.example.com"? Meaning there is a space between "Link:" and the web address. Depending on which you type into the google search box you get very different results.
Thanks in advance!

They're basically just different searches. The first example, without the space, is the correct way to use the link: operator. Take a look at what's returned for each:
[link:www.searcenginewatch.com (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=link%3Awww.searchenginewatch.com&btnG=Search)]
Returns: "Results 1 - 10 of about 13,800 linking to www.searchenginewatch.com.
[link: www.searchenginewatch.com (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&q=link%3A+www.searchenginewatch.com&btnG=Search)]
Returns: "Results 1 - 10 of about 62,900 for link: www.searchenginewatch.com."
When you take a look at the actual results for the second search you'll see the highlighted terms link, links and www.searchenginewatch.com. It's simply a straight search.

Ah - One is actually a search for the terms "link" and the web site, whereas the one with no spaces is the actual operator.
Makes sense - thanks for the assistance!
