Hi,

Best way to get good page rank ?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is your starting point for getting traffic. After all, Google has to "like" your web pages, and people have to be able to find them. All SEO means is making your pages human and Google friendly.

Your website needs soe friendly search engines.

The first criterion (often overlooked) is to have great content! Your goal is to build traffic. Why would anyone even want to come to your website if there's nothing interesting there to see?

Your pages need to be built around specific keyword phrases that people use to find sites like yours. How do you know what keyword phrases people use to search? You have to use a tool like WordTracker's free keyword tool, or Google's external keyword tool. What you really need is something like WordTracker's paid keyword tool, but if you're new to internet marketing, that can come later.

Another great "free" way to create traffic is to write articles (like the one you're reading) and put them on article directories. Readers see the articles and click through your links to your site. This is a great way to get qualified traffic!

You have to do some link building process for your websites:

Link building methods:

1. Submission to directories
2. Article Directory Submissions
3. Blog Comment
4. Forum Postings
5. Link exchanges

Use this process we can get traffic easily....

jopsons.

Page rank is not purely depends on backlinks....so many factors are there.....

for example :

1. onpage factors
2. offpage factors

In onpage factors:

-> good content
-> good keywords
-> images
-> navigation
-> site map
-> ect.................

offpage :

Thanks again for your quick reply. I think I must concentrate more upon the quality of my blog's content rather than confuse myself with the page rank factors.

For increasing a page rank to improve your website thus you do increase traffic on you website by a SEO or SEM.

:)Hi enablingbiz, as jopsons said, page rank is dependent upon many factors. so, look at these factors carefully and try to find out the reason by yourself. well, page rank may fall due to the following factors :

Paid Linking : The easy excuse is that they’re targeting paid links, but not all sites which experienced the drop sell or buy links.

Mass Linking : Do we link out to too many sites via Blog Rolls? Does Linkbait just result in TOO MANY links, even if they are natural. Do blog networks use influential linking to their advantage? I think PageRank has been spread too thin and Google is changing its PageRank formula to address the mass publishing which has taken place over the past 2 years.

Devalue PageRank : PageRank is seen by many as the end all value of a web site. Our PageRank dropped but we are receiving more Google search traffic than ever. PageRank does not define site rankings in Google or traffic and it should not be mistaken as so.

Kill the Paid Link Market : If Paid Linking houses use PageRank as a pricing metric, then eliminating or devaluing PageRank will devalue paid linking.

Thanks for replying me..but site ranking has been reduced on search engine. crawling has been closed by any keyword on google.

So what should i do?

:)Well, the simple reason for the dropped ranking is that your site is unable to sustain competition from your competitors sites. The keyword you were targeting is much better optimized by your competitors for their sites. SEO is a game which is full of predictions and unexpected results. understand it..:(

No. PageRank is only about links. While on-page factors (such as good content), can influence whether a page gets linked to or not, the only thing the PageRank algo considers is links. See the link to the original PageRank paper above.
