Hello, I just registered and would have read many of the posts and think they are very informative. I have a websites and wondering if anyone could help me out in increasing sales (by better SEO, obviously). Any advice is greatly appreciated. Any recommendations on getting guaranteed placement companies that WORK and are not spammers is also appreciated.

The only thing as a guaranteed placement is Paid Search (PPC). Do not fall for ANY "SEO" that guarantees placement, since they are likely just going to get you ranked for your own brand or worthless terms. Welcome to the forums. Spend some time reading through the archived threads and you will learn a lot...participating in forums requires actually reading old threads in order to learn, instead of expecting people to answer your questions. Once you have more specific questions, find the right thread to ask them or start a new one. :)

Heh, technically PPC isn't "guaranteed" either if your ad is deemed irrelevant to the search.

Basically, just walk away from anyone "guaranteeing" anything, unless they guarantee to do as much as they can to help you improve your rankings. Even Google's own engineers can't push a button and put you at the top of every SERP without some serious hacking and don't mind getting fired for it.

Today, there is really no need to "submit" to search engines. Forum postings with links look like spam and may get you banned from some forums like this one for example.
