I own and operate a new online retail company Her Choice Jewelry.

I am new to using shopping networks and comparison networks and welcome any and all help to get the most out of them. I have set up live feeds from my yahoo merchant store on what I have found to be the main shopping networks listed on this website (http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2156331).

I am looking for tips and any kind of help on how to succeed in these networks. Currently I am live in a few but have only one click and conversion from the yahoo shopping network.

You need to optimize your site to gain organic traffic and start some analytics to measure conversion and then use PPC to make additional sales

Sure I understand and am taking those steps in those directions but as far as producing sales through shopping networks how do I optimize that?

you need tracking codes so you can see what is working... where the sales are coming from

Which Shopping Engines are you using? A lot of them offer tracking of their own. I have been working with Shopping engines for 3 to 4 years now and I would start with a simple engine like Google Base (Google Product Submit) it's free and you can learn a lot about how to improve your customer appeal, by altering you titles and descriptions to see which appeals best. I would also recommend using engines that allow you to change the bids at the product level, this will allow for greater control of your budget. The ones I know that allow for product bidding thru the interface are Shopzilla, Nextag and Smarter.com. HOpe this helps you out.

Thanks for your replies so far guys. I have installed google analytics throughout my website and am set up to see everything that is going through my website.

Per the post above mine I was wondering if there are ways to "optimize" in shopping networks to gain higher listings. Is it just to work on the title to pump as many keywords as might be searched for by a user or is there more to that?

How do I get shopping networks to list me as a store? Right now just my products are live on certain ones but not under the category of "stores" to narrow down search.

Any and all help is welcome

many of the shopping networks drop down stores when they reach a large number of products and get a lot of people going there... but more often is done through partnership arrangements between the partiies involved.
