I was inspired to learn about customizing the myspace profile page after viewing the Pages like:

www.myspace.com/roaminggnome
www.myspace.com/crankfilm

I saw that now they are no more available. I was planning to create a profile with customization in layout. However, after disappearance of the above pages, I am bit hesitant to go ahead and customize the myspace page.

If somebody knows whether the above mentioned pages were discontinued by the creator or were removed by MYSPACE?

They were very nice example of customized myspace profiles.

Customization like that can be done without losing your page so long as the footers, and various recurred links are in the pages.. the code wrapped around them can be different to give different looks.

My 15 year old loves playing with them.

Could I have path of his profile (if he doesn't mind), may be it could be help me in learning further :)

It would be nice if someone could suggest some resources to learn further in customization of myspace page. I have Hacking Myspace but it seems to me a very basic guide.

Maybe they are planning to launch a "Pages" directory like Facebook just did: http://www.facebook.com/pages/
