Hi,
I'm looking for any suggestions for SEO software (not web based).
I did some reading and research and heard about...
1. Web Position 4
2. IBP 9
3. Keyword Elite
4. Submitwolf & other Trellian software
I'm looking for software that can perform all kinds of SEO tasks but would not mind buying another software as well if it excels in a certain area.
Any suggestions ? ;)
Thanx for your help in advance !!!

Why not hosted ones... some of the good ones are done that way like compete.com for measuring competitors

Aussie,
thanx for your answer.
Checked out compete.com - looks nice, BUT it did not have any data on some (smaller) sites I researched.
Also - main reason checking out non web based software - u always have those permanent costs and extra costs, etc.
Compete.com gave me 5 credit points for signing up, charged me one credit for a search, then another one looking specifically into THAT search result and so on and on.
Looking at their price chart one credit point is worth one dollar (when u buy 50 credits or up).
I would spent way more money on that site in a week than purchasing a software bundle...

Yeah there is def a need for something new out there. A friend of mine is working on something new! I have the ideas he is the programming wiz. We hope to have something up and running in a few months. It's going to bring a whole lot of diff tools together and make keeping track of your seo a whole lot easier. We will prob be needeing some beta testers in the beginning stages. They will go on to have free accounts when we go full blown with it. There will always be free features, but we still haven't figured out what to give for free and what to charge for. Either way if we can pull off what I want it to do, I wouldn't mind paying $50 a month if its gonna save me hours a day.

If it includes all the tools I need and they are good, then I wouldn't mind paying that price either... ;)
