Hi everyone!
I just wanted to take a second and welcome anyone and everyone to the new Marketing Small Business Online forum. I'm really excited to have the opportunity to ask and answer questions from readers of the Little Biz column AND anyone who just needs a little help or information.

Feel free to post any question, there's nothing to small or too large to tackle here and if you can help out, go ahead and post an idea or an answer to a question.

My philosophy is that everyone has a valid opinion - and especially in the Search Marketing industry, what works for one site, may not work for another. Lets use this opportunity to really help some folks out and become a go-to resource for information on marketing a small business online!

Is this a test? Here's some ideas I came up with, open to others posting some goodies too!

1. Optimized Press Releases and submission to social media outlets that support your "niche"
2. Paid Advertising to relevant keyword phrases that empasizes your brand in ad text
3. Play on Recommendations or Endorsements via on-site articles and press releases - build links to those from relevant sites
4. Develop a new product or technique that rocks and you can really hook people in with.
5. Serve a niche that is underrepresented

I enjoy reading your weekly email on small business marketing . It's good to get a different perspective , even if it's only to confirm that what you are doing is along the right lines
