We purchased a health site a few years ago that apparently used to have affiliate and MLM content. Since then, we have built the site to sales in the millions with our branded line of products. The site is not listed in Dmoz. At one point, I was a Dmoz editor and remember checking the site--it had a note on it not to list it because it was an affiliate site. Since then, my dmoz account has lapsed for inactivity, so I can't check it any more.

Is there any way to get the site note updated so that it can be listed? We are one of the largest health supplement retailers online and it seems silly that we can't be listed because of what the previous owners of the domain did.

Thanks for any help you might have.

I would suggest trying the dmoz forums - there is a place to submit things linked to the forum

The note won't be updated, unless it was lost in the recent gret server crash

Just submit the site again and after the suggested description write in [] [site is no longer an affiliate] - hopefully that will make the editor reviewing less trigger happy to hit the delete.
