We are willing to give back links from our website to a website of one of the universities, but we are worried to be considered as spammers or selling links by Google as we will be giving them the links in all pages. How many links per week can be reasonable to be given to this website? Are we making a risk by giving them a large number of links even if it was on intervals?

I see no reason to repeatedly link out to one particular site, especially if the links are sitewide. I can't see a benefit to either site. The value of many/most/all of those links will probably be discounted, so the linked to site won't receive any added juice. And yes, you would most probably compromise your outgoing link profile.

One link, say from the home page, would probably be just as or more valuable than the shotgun pattern of links. Or, if you think it would benefit your site visitors, constructing one specific page for the university with links to te different departments might be something to consider.

As an aside, don't always just worry about Google. Yahoo is known to be quite fast to pull the trigger when it notices dodgy linking patterns, resulting in an "only the home page indexed" ban.

If it is a repeated link then you will eventually be seen as a link seller/serp spammer....

but if the links are different - point to various articles - you could be okay.

Also if it is an edu site you are pointing to Google may not think they do link buying and it will be okay.

If u getting 1 link per day thats better for your site . But it should be relevant link. per day per link but related beneficial for your site. If in a day your site submit in 2 websites so its good. but if in a day u submit 2 sites in your web sites and your site is not submitting any where so it's bad for your site.
