Is 3 way linking allowed by google? I had a link building guy in India offer to get me one way links by offering his site to the other site that would be linking to me.

Secondly, I have paid for links several times but really nothing more than low quality PR 0 or 1 and every now and then 2 sites, but rarely any relevance whatsoever.

I tried emailing other sites but that doesn't work either.

Am I missing something? If not, does anyone know of someone reasonable that can do a good job building links?

My site is <SNIP> and is a training site for lean manufacturing, six sigma, and sales.

Thank you,

John

Thanks, and if anyone knows of people that are good at this please reply. Not looking for a post about yourself, only referrals please.

Opting for this link exchange programs are not considered as effective as they used to be as of now search engines like Google, Yahoo may even blacklist you if you have lots of links that aren't relevant to the content of your site. You are best off getting back links from relevant online directories etc. I think technically speaking it is best to find like-minded areas of expertise/blogs and exchange links with them in a real fashion. Comment on each other's posts, etc....
