whats your thoughts or experience in ranking a plc.uk domain name or ltd.uk extension in UK search engines, Google etc, cheers.

Is it harder, does google put .co.uk and.com before these extensions.

Why should it be harder for google to rank the page not having a .com extension. Search engine crawlers crawl the website and check out for the content regardless the domain names. I do not think that having extension other than .com will effet the rankings.
For Example:
the persons seeking SEO, first create the blogs for trails, but they get ranked easily in search engines.

Actually, the .uk will give you a boost in the UK. As will a .com hosted there.

plc.uk domain name or ltd.uk

It's all the same to Google once it sees the .uk at the end - they just want to know where you are coming from.
