Hi,

The website in question is currently a .co.uk and producing some good results in Google.co.uk

We would like to introduce a .com to target the USA/Dubai market. My thinking is to set up hosting on a USA IP so the website sits in Google.com and not interfere with the .co.uk results.

Does anyone have any experience of expanding into foreign markets with the same language content?

Many Thanks

Hosting in the US from a US IP would be a good idea for sites made to target US customers. Also, use a doctype with en-us.

Also: US and Dubai are two different localities altogether.

Hi Marcia,

Yes the content will be very similar to the .co.uk. The main difference will be the $ not the £. :)

Yes I realise they are different locations, US is the priority for the moment.

Thanks
