Here is a scenario:
1. website A links to website B.
2. website B does not link to website A.
3. the "href" link website A uses to link to website B is disallowed via website B's robots.txt.
Question:
1. From an SEO perspective, what happens when website A adds a "nofollow" to it's href outbound link to website B, given that the URL in the link from website A to website B is disallowed via robots.txt at website B?
2. Would adding a nofollow to a disallowed URL help and/or hurt either site and in what ways?
Thanks in advance and please feel free to share, I'd really like to hear everyone's opinion!:)
