View Full Version : rel="nofollow" can not change css attributes
Hi,
I would like to use rel="nofollow" attribute for some of my internal links.
My problem is whenever I use this attribute my links turns out to be red. I tried several solutions to prevent this however I could not handle this problem.
Any propositions?
Thanks in advance

This will work but it works to add "nofollow" to every link on the page.

But if all you want to do is stop a few of the links from passing juice - especially from the homepage no foll specific links is good.
Yes what I do want is stop passing link juice to some of my links. However I have trouble with css.As soon as I put rel="nofollow" to a link, the link becomes red. I just want to disable this red color. I do not know how. I used "style=background-color:none;" it does not help.

Do you happen to be using Firefox and any of the SEO-type plugins that highlight nofollow links?
Yes I use Firefox and I have SEO for Firefox on it

Yeah, most users never see "red" because they are using IE.
