It is easy....

1. Yahoo and MSN is killing themselves slowly. The new xml standrad implemented is poorly working with Yahoo and MSN.

I have submitted xml of 8 million products to Yahoo, MSN and Google. So far the progress looks like this (three months):

A. Google - 300 000 pages indexed
B. Yahoo - 14 000 pages indexed
C. MSN - 89 pages indexed

As you can see yahoo and MSN are hardly indexing at all. Hence, Google is outstanding.

2. The reason for you getting better conversions on Yahoo and MSN is because there is less competition. Everyone is on Google but very few advertise on MSN.

I might guess you have a better conversion because you pay less on MSN right?

For 3 see 1.

I can't believe that Yahoo and MSN is killing themselves slowly.
Have you any evidence to prove yourself?

If you have No. 1 rankings for the same keyword phrase at both Google and Yahoo. Google sends 10x traffic over to your site, based on what I have seen. Yahoo and MSN are phasing out of the search market.

If conversion is the problem, I'd suggest that making changes to the site and make it more convincing.

I have been in this business for about five years. I am seeing Yahoo and MSN just indexing slower and slower. It is just amazing how slow they are now.

It is like they gave up 10 months ago. I would be very happy if I am wrong. I do not think they are investing in more servers and so on.

Just my feeling.
