Currently, an outside SEM company is using Clicktracks as our web analytics package. But we are currently in the process of bringing our SEM campaigns as well as our website analytics in house. We have decided to use Omniture/Sitecatalyst and I was wondering what experiences some of you have had regarding this analytics package. Any positive/negative feedback is welcome. I am just trying to generate some kind of feedback on what I should expect since I have only had experience using Webtrends and Clicktracks. Thanks in advance

- can't track through redirects (301, 302).
- can't track user errors. (404)
- can't track bots by user agent name.
- can't track down support for any level of help.
- can't get anyone at omniture to return emails.

just a few reason to just say no!

Omniture may be good for PPC but, not SEO.

I was just given the walkthrough about an hour ago and judging by what I saw, I think it will be pretty useful. I think our Omniture consultant referred to it as a "kick off" call.

Does anyone have any user experience with the SEM reporting/tracking on Omniture/Sitecatalyst? How accurate are the results? Wouldn't it be more accurate collecting the SEM data for monthly clicks/impressions/conversions from campaign dashboards rather than analyzing through Omniture which is likely to yield different results?

Any thoughts or opinions?
