I am a self taught search marketer. I have been working in search for two years, plus. I read for a minimum of two hours every morning, usually more. I study articles here on Search Engine Watch, and many other places. I manage my company's large campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. I am comfortable in my knowledge, but I don't know how to define my expertiese status. I do not feel that my pay level reflects my knowledge as an in-house ppc manager, but I don't know if I am qualified to ask for more. How is an expert manager definded? What should my day look like when managing and teaching myself? How can I show my employer I am worth more than I am getting?
Thanks for the help.
