My company finished a french version of our english site for a very competitive keyword, it is good for SEO purposes to get a new domain, to create a sub domain under my english site (frenchkeyword.mysite.com), or just create a folder under the root www.mysite.com/frenchkeyword ????

subdomains are hot!

Regularly in terms of linking most of the sites required to link only to your home page not to a sub domain, that is why I think the best option is to create a new site from scratch.

We are going to launch 4k unique content pages for only 1 topic I think in 4 to 6 months we can get the top 10. Dont you think?
