Search engines don't have eyes so, no chances are it will not hurt you! You may consider including meta or text content about the movie. You may also consider posting the video on YouTube and/or Google video as well as others. In doing so also include a link to your website.

Yes it certainly wouldn't hurt. Think about YouTube.
