Hy guys!, i'm doing some keyword research for a site. I have selected 2 keywords but overture tells me that one is more searched by the yahoo users and the marketleap tool tells me that the other is more searched for.
Which tool should i place more weight on?
Hope somebody can help me !

both but you really need a decent tool like word tracker or keyword discovery. The free tools are ok to a point, maybe they are right for you. They are all different animals so you will get the best results by doing your own comparison

Each tool has its own criteria for measuring searches. For example, if you search "tire" and "tires" in the overture tool, you will get the same results because overture combines plurals, singulars, and misspellings. Also with 2 and 3 keyword phrases. Overture will treat "cooper tires" and "tires cooper" as the same.
Other tools may treat all of the above searches separately. Also, other tools use different search data. Overture uses yahoo searches, keyword discovery "compiles keyword search statistics from over 180 search engines world wide." Wordtracker uses data from meta engines.
Hi sephiroth, you might want to have a look at a recent thread which covers much the same questions as you have asked.
